Vol. 101 New collection 2023

In the February 2023 collection, completely new fabrics will be presented and different from those that have been presented in the past. This collection stands out for its innovation in finishes, shapes and techniques. In addition, the colors are more striking and colorful, which makes it even more attractive.

In relation to our social and environmental responsibility, we have implemented new practical and innovative lines and finishes in this collection. Among them, we highlight the C-FREE and RECYCLE lines, which seek to reduce our impact on the environment and promote the use of sustainable materials.

C-FREE

It is a new finish, free of PFAS, chemical substances that are added to different products, including textiles, as their purpose is to prevent stains, provide water resistance and avoid non-stick coatings. These chemicals, in addition to contaminating the environment, are harmful to health and can cause diseases such as cancer, thyroid, and even affect the development of children.

For this reason, we decided to find a new alternative, free of toxic substances, conscious of the quality and health of our customers. But, having the same results in the fabric, that is, water repellency, easy clean, stain resistant.

RECYCLE

The textile industry is one of the most polluting in the world. For this reason, FORMATEX decided to innovate a line with less environmental impact called Recycle.

These fabrics are made with more than 30% post-consumer recycled polyester to avoid plastic waste in the oceans. Likewise, it is free of PFAS and has 60% renewable sources of plant origin with anti-stain, anti-microbial, water-repellent, easy-to-clean, washable with chlorine, quick-drying properties.

BOUCLE

This fabric is and will continue to be in trend, given that it makes any object visually attractive and provides comfort, thanks to its soft texture.

However, unlike other collections, this one contains various thicknesses of threads, more colorful and fun shades, such as mint, reds, greens, clay, yellows, brighter blues, oranges, among others.

Also, this season we decided to combine the boucle with other techniques and shapes such as marbled ones like the Belucci and the Monique . The jacquards in the products Alps, Breathe, Backgammon, Dusk, Metropolitan, among others.

Likewise, almost all of them are part of the Revolution and Recycle line, the collection that reduces the impact that textiles create on the environment.

VELVET

Fabrics par excellence, thanks to the elegance and bearing that velvets provide. However, this year the objective was to create different textures than those presented in previous years. Given this, FOREVER and HIGHLIGHT were created, velvet with a marbled and soft appearance to provide a different touch.

SHAPES

For this spring summer, geometric shapes with a lot of dynamism and movement are definitely what stands out the most in this collection, since you can see everything from straight lines with different thicknesses in the LOFT, to rhombuses and triangles like in the Ryder.

These fabrics will definitely make spaces shine and create spectacular accents.
