It was in April 2014 when FORMATEX was founded with the aspiration of being a leading company in the textile and upholstery sector, recognized for the quality of products, services, trends and innovation.
On the part of the partners there was great interest and enthusiasm to develop new products in the textile industry and make them competitive in the market.
The dream that began with an idea transformed into one of the largest companies selling upholstery fabrics. Thus positioning itself, since then and until now, as one of the most important textile suppliers in Mexico in interior design, thanks to new technologies, design, variety of colors and textures.
Due to the efficient processes, the dedication, effort and work of each of the members of this great team, it has currently been possible to expand to 3 warehouses with surfaces of approximately 3,000 square meters, ideal for storing up to 1,400,000 meters of fabric. .
We cannot leave behind our 3 showrooms, with locations in Monterrey, CDMX and Guadalajara, which offer a personalized and exclusive shopping experience that reflects the quality of our fabrics. They are spaces where quality, design and creativity come together to offer a unique and personalized experience.
For FORMATEX turning 9 years old means raising our glasses and toasting what has been achieved, where they are today and what is to come, knowing that they must continue working, renewing and improving every day to provide customers with the best items and services.
Furthermore, commemorating the anniversary is also a time to thank and remember our team, that without them it would not have been possible to achieve growth in the current textile field.

The main pride of FORMATEX is to be able to have collaborations with large chains such as LIVERPOOL, SMUEBLERIAS, PLACENCIA, FREG, CASA DE LAS LOMAS, D´EUROPE, CIMACO, MÖBLUM, among others. But, above all, the greatest honor is to have clients and people who are passionate about interior design and furniture, wanting to improve their products and projects more and more every day together with us.
There are many advances that have been achieved, thanks to the commitment and objectives set by the company. Although there are also many challenges that remain, it is firmly believed that this family, together with the clients, will increase over time.
