Vol. 46 Loop fabrics.

Vol. 46 Telas de bucle.

This week at the International Furniture Expo and at Cariñito Café we were presenting our new line. Precisely, several of our fabrics have loops , since this will be one of the most sought-after trends on the market and of course we always go one step further to always bring you the latest in avant-garde.

The loop will be used a lot in upholstery fabrics, because its soft, fluffy and curly appearance provides comfort and convenience in the space. Furthermore, thanks to this, you can play with the thickness of the threads, generating contrast and accent textures in the fabrics.

Good, but many of you may be wondering what a loop is, what it looks like and what characteristics it has. Don't worry, later we will explain all these doubts that may arise.

These types of fabrics are made with loop threads, which can be produced in two ways, from large circles or from others with tiny curls.

The weaving process can be time-consuming and complicated, since when making the fabric there must be two threads, one that must always be very tense and another without tension, that is, it has a looser strand while it is weaved. . The first works as an anchor and the second is what generates the loop.

Loop fabrics can be found in different shapes and applications. Some may have thinner threads, others may have thicker nuanced threads, longer, shorter, curlier, luxurious and dedicated. However, they will always create great texture and accentuation effects in the space.

Can be used on structured or jacquard fabrics. But, its main function is to create a multi-layered fabric that can be used to give more details to another textile piece.

Now knowing that this type of fabric will highlight your spaces and your furniture, are you willing to buy it?
