Vol. 103 What is Recycle?

Vol. 103 ¿Qué es Recycle?

One of the biggest problems of the textile industry is that it is the second most polluting industry in the world. For this reason, FORMATEX contributes to the environment every day, thanks to the new RECYCLE fabrics, these are made with 30% recycled polyester, since after the material is consumed, it is reused to make a new product and thus reducing waste in the sea.

In addition, this new collection of textiles contains carbon-free finishes (PFAS), renewable sources of plant origin and anti-stain, anti-microbial, water repellency, easy cleaning, washable with chlorine and quick-drying properties.

The function of these was not only sustainability, but to combine this characteristic together with quality, high performance and design.

Their aspiration is to enhance the beauty and longevity of the fabric, through aesthetic patterns and functional plant-based finishes, which allow maintaining a clean and bacteria-free textile.

We have a wide range of Recycle colors, within our catalog is BACKGAMMON, a Jacquard that has 3 variants: neutral tones, pink with blue and green with blue tones. Also, there is ZAPPA, a plain fabric with a variety of tones such as mustard, lime green, brown, white, aqua, brick and more neutral tones.

For care and cleaning of these fabrics there are 2 methods. The first only requires soap, a tablespoon of laundry detergent and two cups of cold water.

The stain must be moistened with a cleaning cloth and then dried gently with small touches and movements, always avoiding rubbing.

Another way is to use an upholstery cleaner. This is generally more efficient for stains like oil, grease, lipstick, or wax.

Do your part for the planet and make a responsible choice!
